Terra had the privilege to participate in a three-day workshop led by Robin Moore with the Natural Learning Initiative for the programming of the Family Adventure Garden. Terra was awarded the design commission in December 2013 as the Garden’s lead designer, and the workshop was the first important step in determining what the stakeholders envision for this long-awaited family destination. Part of our time in Texas included a spectacular whirlwind tour of San Antonio and surrounding Texas Hill Country, which culminated with an up-close and personal encounter with the Lone Star State’s infamous longhorn cattle.
