Team Terra, along with our friends at Peter Margittai Architects, convened at the Copper Kettle Brewery to learn the finer points of making our own brew for the upcoming Autumn Harvest Celebration at Cindy and Bryan’s farm. We “poured” over 50 recipes and chose an autumn malty ale to celebrate the onset of shorter days and cooler temperatures. Our mentoring brewmaster encouraged us to sample roasted grains, various malts and hops, and lots of the finished product! We call our masterpiece “Solidago Septemberfest” by Black Dog Brewing. Our office dogs, Halle, Tuesday, and Sadie, are hoping to reap in the royalties (in the form of dog treats) in exchange for naming rights!
