Terra, along with The Seckel Group, The Acorn Group, and EMD Consulting Group, completed the master plan for Kingwood Center Gardens in August. We were delighted when the Board decided in September to implement the first phase of the master plan – the much-needed renovation of the Carriage House and the creation of a new garden terrace, called the Patio Garden. The Seckel Group is working to restore this elegant structure’s integrity, while Terra is creating a new garden space outside its double doors. The Patio Garden offers opportunities to increase earned income while introducing 21st century public garden topics to Kingwood Center Gardens: artful stormwater, fruit trees and soft fruits, and permaculture concepts.
Terra is preparing construction documents with an expected Garden opening of Summer 2016.
